FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions — E-Court Services

What is a CNR number and how do I find it?

CNR (Case Number Record) is a unique 16-digit number assigned to every case filed in Indian courts. It is printed on all court notices and orders. If you don't have your CNR number, contact us — we can retrieve it using party name and court details.
Yes. The Supreme Court and most High Courts including Allahabad High Court conduct virtual hearings via video conferencing. We assist you with the technical setup and ensure you are properly represented through the designated platform.
Certified copies can be applied for through the eCourts Services portal or via the High Court's CIS (Case Information System). The process requires filing a formal application, paying court fees and waiting for the copy clerk's processing. We handle this entire process for you.
E-filing is available for the Allahabad High Court (including Lucknow Bench) and most district courts in UP under the eCourts Phase II implementation. However, availability varies by court and case type. Our team stays updated on which courts accept e-filings and for which matter types.
Yes. Using the eCourts portal at ecourts.gov.in or the eCourts mobile app, any litigant can track their case status using CNR number, case number or party name — without needing a lawyer. We can help you set this up and explain the information displayed.
